AI text generator
From a few generated paragraphs to a book-length text
A text box and a prompt work for short pieces. For anything longer, AIBookWriter adds structure: an outline, target lengths, a stored cast and your style, so the generated text adds up to something.
Why generated text rarely becomes a book
Text generators are good at the next few paragraphs. A book is a different kind of problem. It stops early
Ask for a chapter and you get a summary of one. Ask for more and it starts repeating itself.
It sounds like everyone else
Default phrasing, default rhythm and the same handful of favorite words, whatever the subject.
There is no structure
No outline, no target lengths and no memory of what the previous piece established.
Nothing to publish
The output is a block of text. A book needs chapters, a cover, metadata and files.
Short text or long text?
Short: book marketing copy
Blurbs, author bios, subtitles and A+ content from the free tools, with two runs an hour and no account.
Short: scenes and dialogue
A single scene from a summary, or an exchange of dialogue with subtext, to drop into a draft.
Long: chapters
Chapters generated from chapter cards with beats, a hook and a target word count.
Long: whole books
Every remaining chapter generated in one batch, from one stored outline and cast.
Long: non-fiction with sources
Chapters that cite your uploaded files as [S1], [S2] and never invent a source.
Going from a paragraph to a book
Structure is what lets generated text get longer without falling apart.Describe the book
A concept, the language, genres and how many chapters it should have.
Set the style
Audience, tone, writing style, point of view, tense, and a sample of your own writing of up to 20,000 characters.
Outline it
Chapter cards with a summary, beats, a hook and a target word count, generated at 3 credits per chapter or written by hand.
Generate the text
Chapter by chapter, streaming in as it is written, or all remaining chapters in one batch.
Edit and export
Run the whole-book review, then export Markdown or DOCX, or an EPUB and a print-ready PDF on Pro.
Controls a blank text box does not give you
Each one changes the text that comes back.Target length per chapter
Set a word count on each chapter card instead of hoping the output runs long enough.
Point of view and tense
Fixed for the whole book, so the text does not switch halfway through.
A writing sample
Up to 20,000 characters of your own prose to follow instead of a default voice.
Stored characters
Names, motivations and speech notes the generator uses in every chapter.
Three model tiers
Swift, Balanced and Literary, at 15, 20 or 30 credits a chapter.
30+ languages
Generate the book in the language you write in.
Free-form generation versus structured generation
The same kind of model gives very different results over a long piece.| Free-form text generator | AIBookWriter | |
|---|---|---|
| Input | A prompt | A concept, style settings, a cast and an outline |
| Length control | Prompting again for more text | A target word count on every chapter card |
| Consistency | Limited to what you paste back in | Characters and outline stored with the book |
| Your own text | Replaced by each new output | Never overwritten; drafts sit next to your version |
| Output | Copy and paste | Chapters, then EPUB, DOCX, Markdown or print PDF |

Questions about AI text generation
How much text can it generate at once?
A chapter at a time, at the length set on its chapter card, or every remaining chapter in one batch once the outline is ready. Because each chapter has its own target word count, you control the length of the whole book rather than the length of a single response.
What is the difference between a text generator and a book generator?
Structure. A text generator answers a prompt. A book generator works from a plan: chapter cards, characters and style settings stored with the book and used every time a chapter is written. That plan is what lets the text reach book length without losing track of itself.
Does the text read as AI-generated?
Text produced from a bare prompt often does. Giving the generator your own writing to follow changes that: paste a sample of up to 20,000 characters and set tone and point of view. Then edit. The review's line edits and your own pass are what make the text read as yours.
Can I use the free tools without signing up?
Yes. Each standalone tool gives two free runs an hour without an account. The word counter and royalty calculator have no limit at all, because they run in your browser. After the free runs, each run costs credits, and the price is shown on the tool's button before you run it.
What does generated text cost?
Chapters cost 15 credits on Swift, 20 on Balanced and 30 on Literary. Outlines cost 3 credits per chapter, and a passage edit costs 5. The Free plan includes 100 credits at sign-up, a free first outline and chapter one written by the AI.
Can I export the text?
Yes, at any time. Export Markdown on any plan or DOCX from Plus, or an EPUB and a print-ready PDF with trim sizes and themes on the Pro plan. You keep all rights to what you write. Formatting costs 200 credits once per book, and re-exports after edits are free.
